Prefertools is a free, browser-based set of tools. It is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. Use is at your own risk.
No warranty
The drink calculators are estimates. The air quality dashboard pulls from third-party APIs that we do not control. The moon phase math is computed locally from a known reference and is accurate to within a few hours. None of this is a substitute for professional advice — dietary, medical, environmental, or otherwise.
Third-party services
The site uses Google Fonts for typography, Open-Meteo for air quality and weather data, and get.geojs.io as a geolocation fallback. Their terms apply to their respective services.
Trademarks
Frappuccino, Strato, and Firework are referenced for descriptive purposes only. Prefertools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Starbucks Corporation or any of its subsidiaries. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are property of their respective owners.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prefertools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
